Abstract

A system is disclosed including an evacuator module and a controller. The evacuator module provides a housing that defines an inlet port and an outlet port, a flow path extending between the inlet and outlet ports, a pump drivable by a motor to draw smoke into the inlet port and along the flow path, and an air quality sensor positioned at a location along the flow path to measure a parameter. The controller is in operable communication with the air quality sensor and the motor. The controller is operable to control the motor based on the parameter measured by the air quality sensor.
