Abstract
A delivery device for delivery and deployment of a heart valve prosthesis with a torque anchoring mechanism includes an inner shaft (404) and a torqueing shaft (450) disposed about the inner shaft. The torqueing shaft (450) includes a proximal shaft portion (466) and one or more members (460) extending from a distal portion (468) of the torqueing shaft. The one or more members (460, 460') are configured to engage an end of the heart valve prosthesis.
