Abstract

The present invention relates to a carbon dioxide concentrator comprising: a first electrode that is a cathode; a second electrode that is separately disposed from the first electrode and that is an anode; and at least one electrolyte liquid that is contained between the first electrode and the second electrode and that is present in contact with the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the at least one electrolyte liquid contains: a compound represented by a following formula (1) or a salt thereof; and water, <img class="EMIRef" id="2c798e61-5b9d-4f70-a250-a4b069a8da08-ia01" /> in the formula (1), R<1> to R<10> each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a hydroxy group or a salt thereof, an alkoxy group, a nitro group, an amino group, a mercapto group, a cyano group, a halogen group, an aryl group, a sulfone group or a salt thereof, a carboxyl group or a salt thereof, a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, or a heteroaryl group.
