Abstract
Disclosed in the present invention are a vanadium-based catalyst, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The vanadium-based catalyst comprises a carrier and a vanadium-based active material loaded on the carrier, wherein the vanadium-based catalyst is of a strip-shaped structure having a multi-petal-shaped cross section, the number of petals in the multi-petal-shaped cross section is at least three, and there are at least two through holes in the strip-shaped structure in the direction of length thereof; and the shape factor of the vanadium-based catalyst is 70-110. The vanadium-based catalyst of the present invention can be used in a wet sulfuric acid process, and the catalyst is low in terms of filling amount, can achieve a relatively high SO<2> conversion rate and a relatively low bed pressure drop by means of a relatively low filling amount, is particularly applicable to the preparation of sulfuric acid by means of the cracking of waste acid in the case of a relatively high impurity content of a feed gas, and is greatly advantageous during long-period operation.
