Abstract
A pouch forming apparatus according to the present disclosure is configured to form a pouch including an accommodation portion configured to accommodate an electrode assembly and a sealing portion extended from the accommodation portion, and includes a heat press configured to apply pressure to the sealing portion to bend at least part of the sealing portion to form an unfolding portion extended from the accommodation portion and a folding portion extended in a direction that is different from a direction in which the unfolding portion is extended, wherein the heat press includes a main heat press configured to apply pressure to the folding portion, and a sub heat press configured to heat a hinge portion connecting the unfolding portion and the folding portion while the main heat press applies pressure to the folding portion, the sub heat press extended in a direction that is different from the extension direction of the main heat press.
