Abstract

In order to control braking/driving force to a front wheel and/or a rear wheel of a vehicle, a vehicular braking/driving force control method: determine whether a cornering force of a tire is in a grip area where the cornering force is proportional to input by a driver or in a non-grip area where the cornering force is not proportional to input by the driver; in the grip area, calculate a target slip angle of the vehicle and control braking/driving force to the front wheel and/or the rear wheel to bring a slip angle generated in the vehicle close to the target slip angle; and in the non-grip area, calculate a target yaw rate of the vehicle and control braking/driving force to the front wheel and/or the rear wheel to bring a yaw rate generated in the vehicle close to the target yaw rate.
