Abstract

A vehicular side airbag device is provided that has a simple structure and is capable of improving occupant restraint performance. RESOLUTION MEANSAn airbag cushion 112 of a side airbag device 100 includes:a pre-push chamber 122 into which an inflator 114 is inserted;an upper chamber 118 that expands and deploys at least partially in a range outside the pre-push chamber 122 in a width direction of a seat 102;inner vents 144a and 144b that supply gas through the pre-push chamber 122 to the upper chamber 118;a lower chamber 120 that receives gas through the pre-push chamber 122 and expands and deploys to at least a range below the upper chamber 118; anda baffle 140 serving as a gas non-exchange partition part that demarcates the upper chamber 118 and the lower chamber 120 and prevents gas exchange between the upper chamber 118 and the lower chamber 120.
