Abstract
A flame retardant-containing particle is a particle (C) obtained by polymerizing a monomer (A), which contains two or more types of a monomer (A-1) having a polymerizable unsaturated double bond and a monomer (A-2) having two or more polymerizable unsaturated double bonds, in a composition containing the monomer (A) and a phosphorus-based flame retardant (B) dissolved in at least part of the two or more types of the monomer (A-1). The particle (C) includes a resin layer (D) formed by polymerizing the monomer (A), and an elution rate of the resin layer (D) in an electrolytic solution is 40 mass% or less.
