Abstract

A treatment method for inkjet textile printing includes applying a treatment liquid (200a) to a textile (100) (S01) when performing printing by applying a recording ink (200b) containing a reactive dye to the textile (100). The textile (100) is a textile on which a water droplet has a diameter of less than 15 mm five seconds after 0.3 g of water is dropped thereto. The treatment liquid (200a) contains urea or ethylene urea. A content of a sizing agent in the treatment liquid (200a) is 1% by mass or less.
