Abstract

A moveable cutting device (220, 230, 250) for providing automated removal of a cable clamp (120) from a pipe string (100), the cutting device (220, 230, 250) comprising: an attachment means configured to attach the cutting device (220, 230, 250) to a manipulator (290) for moving and/or operating the cutting device (220, 230, 250) in use; and a cutting means (221, 222, 221a, 251) configured in use to be operated to cut a portion of a cable clamp (120) such that the cable clamp (120) is released from the pipe string (100).
