Abstract

Provided is a front bearing device comprising: a rolling bearing (20) that rotatably supports a spindle (60) with respect to a housing (50); and an outer ring spacer (40) and an outer ring retainer that are fitted into the housing (50) to position an outer ring (22) of the rolling bearing (20) in the axial direction. Lubricant (G) is supplied to the inside of the rolling bearing (20) through a lubricant supply path (52). One side surface (22b) of the outer ring (22) is offset to the axial center side relative to a side surface (21b) of an inner ring (21) of the rolling bearing (20), and an opening (41) penetrating the outer ring spacer (40) in the radial direction is formed at an end surface (43) of the outer ring spacer (40) abutting the offset side surface (22b).
