Abstract

An electromagnetic relief valve (100) comprising: a pilot poppet (20) configured to allow or shut off communication between a passage on a high-pressure side and a passage on a low-pressure side; and a biasing unit (S) configured to bias the pilot poppet (20) in the valve closing direction. The plunger portion (72) is provided with a through hole (72a) configured to guide working fluid to a spring chamber (78), the working fluid being discharged from the passage on the high-pressure side when the pilot poppet (20) is opened. The electromagnetic relief valve (100) further comprises a through hole (72b) discharging the working fluid from the spring chamber (78) to outside.
