Abstract

ObjectTo provide a weighing and conveying apparatus (1), and a weighing, conveying, and packaging apparatus (100), which can expand the range of weight of an article that can be conveyed while ensuring safety.SolutionA weighing and conveying apparatus (1) includes: a weighing unit (2) that weighs an article; a conveying unit (3) that conveys the article weighed by the weighing unit (2) by operating a drive motor (32); a conveying control unit (72) that starts conveyance of the article by the conveying unit (3) when a weight of the article weighed by the weighing unit (2) is not greater than an upper limit weight, or is less than the upper limit weight; a switching unit (71) that switches between conveying speeds of the conveying unit (3); and a storage unit (8) that stores the upper limit weight for each of the conveying speeds switched by the switching unit (71). The upper limit weight stored in the storage unit (8) is a weight of the article at which a load current generated in the drive motor (32) reaches an allowable maximum load current of the drive motor (32) when the article is conveyed at the corresponding one of the conveying speeds.
