Abstract

In one embodiment, the electric system (1) comprises a static electric induction device (2) and an electric resistance, ER, sensor (3), wherein - the electric system (1) further comprises a protective coating (4) to protect a component (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) of the electric system (1) from an exterior (A) of the electric system (1), - the ER sensor (3) comprises a measurement conductor track (31) and a reference conductor track (32), - the protective coating (4) and the ER sensor (3) are configured to be in direct contact with the exterior (A), - the reference conductor track (32) is permanently shielded from the exterior (A), - the measurement conductor track (31) is less shielded from the exterior (A) than the reference conductor track (32), and - the ER sensor (3) is configured to provide information about a corrosion state of the protective coating (4).
