Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a fiber enclosure (300) for receiving and managing a plurality of optical fibers including a housing defining an interior volume, a plurality of input ports (308) provided on at least one of the sidewalls (304), a plurality of fanout units (310, 312) disposed within the housing, a multi-tiered adapter frame (402) comprising a stair arrangement removably mounted within the interior volume of the housing and and a plurality of optical fiber adapters (404). Further the multi-tiered adapter frame (402) includes a plurality of horizontally-extending step portions (412) separated by vertically-extending riser portions (430). Each of the horizontally-extending step portions (412) lie in a horizontal plane vertically offset from adjacent horizontally-extending step portions (412).
