Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method for anomaly ranking of an industrial asset, wherein the method comprises receiving operational data from a plurality of sensors coupled to an industrial asset; processing the operational data to determine a deviation amount, wherein determining a deviation amount comprises determining a difference between a sensor output value and a sensor limit threshold value; defining at least two anomaly events for the at least one sensor comprising a sensor output value outside a predetermined sensor limit threshold value and ranking the at least two anomaly events, wherein ranking an anomaly event comprises: processing the operational data to determine a deviation duration, wherein determining a deviation duration comprises determining the time when the plurality of sensor output values lie outside the sensor limit threshold value; determining a severity factor for each anomaly event based on the deviation amount and deviation duration; determining a priority factor of each anomaly based on the severity factor; outputting the at least two ranked anomaly events on a user terminal based on the priority factor.
