Abstract
The present application provides a smoothing apparatus and a battery assembly system to solve the problem of occurrence of wrinkles on an insulating protective film outside an electrode assembly in the prior art. The smoothing apparatus includes a frame, a drive mechanism, and a pair of rollers that are matched. The rollers are rotatably connected to the frame and used to smooth a member to be smoothed; and the drive mechanism is disposed on the frame and connected to the rollers, and is used to drive the pair of rollers to rotate synchronously. In this way, the drive mechanism drives the pair of rollers to rotate synchronously, so that linear speeds of outer surfaces of the two rollers are the same, thereby solving the problem in the related art that two drive sources are used to respectively drive a pair of rollers but rotational speeds are different.
