Abstract

A system (90) is disclosed. The system (90), comprises mobile agricultural equipment (100), comprising: a towing vehicle (110) comprising a hitch (116); a towed vehicle (120) comprising a proximal end portion (127) coupled to the towing vehicle (110) via the hitch (116), wherein the proximal end portion (127) defines a nose (127') of the towed vehicle (120); a sensor array (140) comprising at least one sensor, wherein the sensor array (140) is configured to generate status information (155) related to a location, orientation, acceleration, and/or height of the at least one sensor; and an actuator (130) operable to adjust a relative height of the proximal end portion (127); and a control assembly (150) in communication with the sensor array (140) and the actuator (130); wherein the control assembly (150) is configured to determine an appropriate height adjustment for the nose (127') based on the status information (155), and to transmit a signal based upon the appropriate height adjustment. Further, a method of operating such system (90) is disclosed.
