Abstract

An agricultural system (90) is disclosed. The agricultural system (90) comprising: a row unit (106) including a frame; a furrow opener (114) coupled to the frame of the row unit (106) and configured to open a furrow; a first applicator (109-1) on the row unit (106) configured to apply a first material to the furrow; a second applicator (109-2) on the row unit (106) configured to apply a second material to the furrow; and an application state control system (278) configured to obtain an application state defining a first application pattern and a second application pattern and to generate a first control signal (322) to control the first applicator (109-1) according to the first application pattern and to generate a second control (322) signal to control the second applicator (109-2) according to the second application pattern. Further, a computer implemented method comprising such an agricultural system (90) is disclosed.
