Abstract

A trimmer head assembly includes a top housing and a bottom housing selectively attached to the top housing. The top housing may include an assembly cap, an engagement button, and a retention tab. The assembly cap may define a radial access slot. The engagement button may be slidably received within the radial access slot to move along a radial direction. The retention tab may be fixed to the engagement button to move therewith along the radial direction. The retention tab may be disposed apart from the radial access slot. The bottom housing may include a frame and a complementary tab. The frame may define one or more trimmer openings to receive a cutting element extending therethrough. The complementary tab may be fixed to the frame in selective radial alignment and engagement with the retention tab to secure the bottom housing to the top housing.
