Abstract
A hedge trimmer includes: a cutting assembly including a first blade and a second blade that reciprocates relative to the first blade along a first direction, where the first blade includes a cutting edge extending along a second direction; a motor configured to drive the cutting assembly; a housing assembly accommodating the motor; and a battery pack detachably coupled to the housing assembly. The hedge trimmer has the state of being placed on a side. When the hedge trimmer is in the state of being placed on the side, the included angle between the second direction and a horizontal plane is greater than or equal to 45 degrees and less than or equal to 90 degrees, and the battery pack is coupled to the housing assembly substantially along the second direction.
