Abstract

A rod portion for a flavor inhalation article comprises: a filler material; a wrapper which is formed into a sheet shape and covers the outer circumference of the filler material; and a seam portion for fixing an overlap part of the wrapper. The seam portion is provided along an axial direction of the rod portion at the overlap part between end portions of the wrapper, comprises a first region afforded by a water-based adhesive and a second region afforded by a water-based adhesive and provided adjacent to a circumferential outer side of the first region at the overlap part of the wrapper, and fixes the overlap part of the wrapper. A hot-melt adhesive which is melted by heating is then not used at the seam portion.
