Abstract

The present invention is related to a polyp trap, configurable to connect to an endoscope and a vacuum system in endoscopy procedures, comprising: a hollow main body having an inlet and an outlet, wherein said main body, said inlet, and said outlet are fluidically communicable; and a tube having a first end removably connectable to said inlet and a second end removably connectable to the endoscope, characterized in that, said polyp trap further comprising a first stand positioned peripherally to said main body for receiving said second end of said tube, whereby said tube can selectively connect to said first stand when said polyp trap is in packaging or connect to the endoscope when said polyp trap is in the endoscopy procedures.
