Abstract

An intraocular lens (21) comprising haptics (30) configured to position the intraocular lens (21) in a defined orientation in the eye, wherein the haptics (30) define a geometrical centre point (C) of the intraocular lens (21), wherein the intraocular lens (21) comprises further an optical lens (25) with an optical centre point through which the optical axis of the optical lens (25) extends, wherein the optical lens (21) is arranged such with respect to the haptics (30) that the optical centre point is offset horizontally and vertically with respect to the geometrical centre point (C).
