Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to a reflow soldering oven comprising a vacuum chamber. A first conveyor is positioned outside of the vacuum chamber and a second conveyor is positioned inside the vacuum chamber. The first conveyor has a first conveyor side rail. The second conveyor has a second conveyor side rail. Each of the first conveyor side rail and the second conveyor side rail has a longitudinal axis. The reflow soldering oven comprises a conveyor alignment mechanism having an alignment member. The alignment member is movably coupled to one of the first conveyor side rail and the second conveyor side rail. The conveyor alignment mechanism is configured to move the alignment member between: a first position in which the alignment member is spaced apart from the other of the first conveyor side rail and the second conveyor side rail, and a second position in which the alignment member engages the other of the first conveyor side rail and the second conveyor side rail such that the first conveyor and the second conveyor are held in an aligned configuration in which the longitudinal axis of the first conveyor side rail is aligned with the longitudinal axis of the second conveyor side rail.
