Abstract

Described is a method for assembling a piece of furniture (10) comprising a cabinet (100) and a closing element (210, 220), the method comprising the following steps: providing a closing element (210, 220), comprising a first accessory (211, 221); providing a cabinet (100), comprising a base panel (101) and two side panels (104) parallel to each other and perpendicular to the base panel, wherein at least one of the two side panels (104) comprises a second accessory (105, 106) configured to be coupled to the first accessory (211, 221), so as to mount the closing element (210, 220) to the cabinet (100); providing a pallet (P), configured to support and block the cabinet (100) and comprising a supporting surface (P114, P124) to support the cabinet (100); through a loading station (C), loading and blocking the cabinet (100) on the pallet (P), so that the base panel (101) of the cabinet (100) is parallel to the supporting surface (P114, P124); through the pallet (P), moving the cabinet (100), along a first transporting line (T1), from the loading station (C) to a mounting station (MC, MA); and through the mounting station (MC, MA), mounting the closing element (210, 220) to the cabinet (100) blocked on the pallet (P), coupling the first accessory (211, 221) to the second accessory (105, 106), so as to make the piece of furniture (10). The present invention also relates to a plant for mounting a piece of furniture (10).
