Abstract

A processing device (100) includes a process portion (13) and a processor (91). The process portion (13) performs medium processing (S53) on a transfer medium (51), subsequent to or prior to ejection of ink forming an image to be transferred from the transfer medium (51) to a transfer-receival medium (61). The processor (91) causes the process portion (13) to perform one of the medium processing of forming additional information (L2) on the transfer medium (51) in a non-transfer mode, or the medium processing of implementing a restriction procedure on the additional information (L2) formed on the transfer medium (51), or the medium processing of implementing an image transfer procedure on the image formed on the transfer medium (51) and not implementing an information transfer procedure on the additional information (L2) formed on the transfer medium (51).
