Abstract
A maintenance device (30) includes a cap (72), a recovery part (94), an air pump (95), and a supply part (92). The cap (72) is provided for an inkjet head (12) and configured to be attached to a nozzle surface (14F) of the inkjet head (12). The recovery part (94) has a vent port (94H) opened to an atmosphere and is configured to recover air (A) from the cap (72). The air pump (95) is configured to suck the air (A) from the recovery part (94). The supply part (92) is provided for the cap (72) and configured to store a humidifying medium (WM), generate a humidified air (WA) by passing air (A) supplied from the air pump (95) through the humidifying medium (WM), and supply the humidified air (WA) to the cap (72).
