Abstract

An elevator cover system is disclosed. The elevator cover system includes: a cover structure comprising a cover plate disposed to face an opening of a hoistway; and a link structure comprising a link bar coupled at one end thereof to the cover plate and a link body coupled to the other end of the link bar and raised or lowered in a moving direction of the elevator car, wherein the cover plate is slidably moved in a horizontal direction orthogonal to an upward or downward travel direction of the elevator car in conjunction with movement of the link structure to open or close the opening of the hoistway.
