Abstract
Disclosed is a carriage handling apparatus including a carriage accommodation part configured to provide a plurality of chambers configured to accommodate a carriage that is a heat treatment target, and a seal-forming portion part configured to selectively form gastightness between first and second chambers that are two adjacent chambers among the plurality of chambers, in which the seal-forming portion part is configured to be placed in a gastight state, in which the seal-forming portion part forms the gastightness between the first chamber and the second chamber, when the first chamber and the second chamber are different in pressure from each other.
