Abstract

A container (10) having a cylindrical shaped body (12) with a rim (18) disposed around a circumference of the body (12) and forming an opening of the container (10). At least one hold (36) is defined within the rim (18) along with a plurality of bail flanges (24). The rim (18) has a substantially square shape when viewed from a top down position and a plurality of side walls (20) formed together with a corresponding plurality of corners (22). Each corner (22) may include a curved inner surface and is disposed between two adjacent side walls (20) each comprising a flat inner surface, thereby forming a funnel when the container (10) is rotated relative to a horizontal axis of the body. As the container is rotated, a user may maintain a high degree of control using the hold defined in the rim as substances are being poured from the container.
