Abstract

A magnetic support and guide structure (10) for conveyors with articulated links is described. The structure comprises a support component (12) and a plurality of guides (14), made of a polymeric material, which protrude from the upper surface (16) of the support component. On the upper surface of the support component there are hollow seats (22A, 22B) for housing magnets (26) and corresponding ferromagnetic plates (28). The guides are provided with at least one flat plate (36), which is integrally formed in a single piece with the respective guide and protrudes from a first side surface (34A) thereof. The guides are also provided with at least one notch-shaped recess (38), which is obtained on the other side surface (34B) of the respective guide. A terminal edge (42) of the flat plate of a given guide at least partially fits, in a form-fitting manner, into a respective recess of an adjacent guide in the assembled configuration of the structure. In this way, each flat plate is arranged parallel to and in contact with the upper surface of the support component, so as to completely cover the hollow seats in which the magnets and the corresponding ferromagnetic plates are housed, protecting them from infiltrations and dirt.
