Abstract
The present invention relates to activators for blended cements comprising at least one source of calcium sulfate, hydrated lime, and calcium aluminate, and cementitious compositions comprising the same. The present invention also relates to methods to increase the mechanical strength of cementitious compositions comprising blended cements by intermixing or intergrinding an activator comprising at least one source of calcium sulfate, hydrated lime, and calcium aluminate.
