Abstract
1. A method for stabilization of an organic material susceptible to oxidative, thermal or light-induced degradation, which comprises the incorporation therein or applying thereto a compound of formula (2)whereinR'<sub>1</sub>, R'<sub>2</sub>, R'<sub>3</sub> and R'<sub>4</sub> are independently from each other hydrogen or C<sub>1</sub>-C<sub>18</sub> alkyl,X'<sub>1</sub> is C<sub>2</sub>-C<sub>12</sub> alkylene or C<sub>3</sub>-C<sub>12</sub> alkylene substituted by hydroxyl;at least one of the radicals Y<sub>1</sub>, Y<sub>2</sub>, Y<sub>3</sub>, Y<sub>4</sub>, Y<sub>5</sub> and Y<sub>6</sub> is a group of formula -CH<sub>2</sub>-CH=CH-R and the remaining of the radicals Y<sub>1</sub>, Y<sub>2</sub>, Y<sub>3</sub>, Y<sub>4</sub>, Y<sub>5</sub> and Y<sub>6</sub> are independently from each other hydrogen or a group of formula -CH<sub>2</sub>-CH=CH-R, wherein R is hydrogen, C<sub>1</sub>-C<sub>18</sub> alkyl or C<sub>5</sub>-C<sub>7</sub> cycloalkyl.
