Abstract

Embodiments of this application relate to the technical field of household appliances, and specifically, to a household appliance, including: a housing (1), where a receiving space (11) recessed inwardly is provided on a front surface (10) the housing, and an opening is provided in the receiving space; a door (2), which is connected to the housing (1) and is used for opening or closing the opening, where the door (2) is configured to be at least partially received in the receiving space (11); and a light-emitting unit (3), which is configured to generate light projected toward the receiving space (11), where the light can form a light effect along the circumferential edge of the door (2). The household appliance is in particular a laundry treatment device. According to the embodiments of this application, the household appliance can improve aesthetics and space utilization.
