Abstract
The present invention allows a user to remove items placed on a rotating shelf without having to lift the items, and, in particular, allows smooth turning or pulling of a second shelf for a user of short stature or a disabled user with difficulty standing up. To this end, the auxiliary device for home appliances of the present invention comprises: a first shelf having an edge portion that is seated on an edge frame of a shelf assembly; a second shelf disposed on top of the first shelf; and a movement prevention part for preventing the first shelf from moving from the edge frame of the shelf when the second shelf is moving forward and backward or is rotating.
