Abstract
A system for detecting failures of solid-state switches in a main circuit includes: a first solid-state switch; a second solid-state switch connected in series with the first solid-state switch and in parallel with a diode; a voltage dividing resistor connected in series with the first solid-state switch and the second solid-state switch; and an injection unit configured to apply a voltage to a circuit including the first solid-state switch, the voltage dividing resistor, and the second solid-state switch. A control unit is configured to: transmit a first driving signal and a second driving signal to the first solid-state switch and the second solid-state switch, respectively, wherein the first driving signal and the second driving signal are used to indicate the switches to close; and determine whether the first and second solid-state switches have failures based on a voltage across the voltage dividing resistor.
