Abstract
A battery diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment disclosed herein includes a sensor configured to obtain a voltage value of each of battery cells and a processor configured to calculate a cell voltage deviation of each of the battery cells based on the voltage value and an average voltage value of the battery cells, calculate a moving average of the cell voltage deviation based on the cell voltage deviation, calculate a low-voltage period based on the moving average, and diagnose whether the battery cells are abnormal, based on the moving average and the low-voltage period.
