Abstract

A toner for electrostatic image development containing a crystalline polyester resin C and an amorphous polyester resin A, wherein the crystalline polyester resin C is a polycondensate of an alcohol component containing ethylene glycol in an amount of 70% by mol or more and a carboxylic acid component containing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound, the alcohol component and/or the carboxylic acid component contains a monofunctional monomer, the amorphous polyester resin A is a polycondensate of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component and a polyethylene terephthalate. The toner for electrostatic image development of the present invention is suitably used in the development and the like of latent images formed in electrophotography, electrostatic recording method, electrostatic printing method and the like.
