Abstract

A ring-type controller includes a first ring device including a first ring portion and a first proximity sensor provided in the first ring portion and a second ring device including a second ring portion and a second proximity sensor provided in the second ring portion and maintained in the first ring device to be movable with respect to the first ring device. The first proximity sensor is located at a position at which the distance between a predetermined first finger to which the first ring portion and the second ring portion are fitted and another second finger is able to be detected. The second proximity sensor is located at a position at which the distance between the first finger to which the first ring portion and the second ring portion are fitted and another third finger is able to be detected.
