Abstract

This application discloses a PWM frequency adjustment method, an electron device, and a readable storage medium, and belongs to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: receiving an interface switching operation, where the interface switching operation is an operation of triggering the electronic device to switch between a first interface and a second interface; and in response to the interface switching operation, the electronic device may present an interface transition effect corresponding to the interface switching operation, and adjust a PWM frequency in a process of presenting the interface transition effect, where the interface transition effect includes at least one of a transition animation, a color gamut change effect, an interface transparency change effect, and a brightness change effect. In this application, screen flicker on a display screen that is caused by adjustment on the PWM frequency is masked through the interface transition effect, thereby improving a display effect of the screen.
