Abstract

An information processing system includes: a first terminal that acquires a feature quantity of an echo sound reflected in a target's ear; a second terminal that enables a predetermined operation based on ear acoustic authentication using the feature quantity; a detection unit that detects contact between the first terminal and the second terminal; and a transmission unit that transmits the feature quantity from the first terminal to the second terminal upon detection of the contact. According to such an information processing system, it is possible to appropriately transmit the feature quantity used for the ear acoustic authentication from an acquisition source.
