Abstract

A computer implemented method for generating a digital twin deployment package for a physical asset, the method comprising: - creating a digital model of the physical asset; - storing the digital model at a dedicated digital models storage location; - creating a machine-readable code with meta-data related to at least location information of the digital models storage location and connection information for establishing connection between with the physical asset and asset user's host devices, an asset user's host device being a computing device from which a user may monitor a digital twin of the physical asset ; and - associating the machine-readable code with the physical asset.
