Abstract

Three-dimensional data about the object is calculated based on a plurality of images obtained by shooting the object using the imaging apparatus, and positions and postures of the imaging apparatus when capturing the plurality of images are calculated. The position and posture of the imaging apparatus when shooting an area requiring inspection of the object identified are determined based on the image obtained by shooting the object and the three-dimensional data, from among the calculated positions and postures of the imaging apparatus. The target position and target posture about the mobile body including the imaging apparatus to shoot the area requiring inspection for subsequent inspection are determined using the determined position and posture of the imaging apparatus.
