Abstract

A support apparatus is configured to support a procedure using a dental implant including a plurality of members. The support apparatus includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire three-dimensional data representing a three-dimensional geometry of an interior of an oral cavity including teeth forming a dentition and a jawbone; a computing unit configured to determine a position for each of the plurality of members in the oral cavity based on the three-dimensional data acquired by the acquisition unit, and adjust the determined position of at least one of the plurality of members based on a positional relationship between the plurality of members; and an output unit configured to output support information representing a position for each of the plurality of members after the adjustment performed by the computing unit.
