Abstract
The present invention pertains to a method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte, the method comprising: introducing sulfide solid electrolyte raw materials into a heated furnace body and mixing the same to obtain a mixture of the sulfide solid electrolyte raw materials, or introducing a mixture of sulfide solid electrolyte raw materials into a heated furnace body; and heating and melting the mixture of the sulfide solid electrolyte raw materials, and cooling and solidifying the obtained melt to obtain a sulfide solid electrolyte, wherein the mixture of the sulfide solid electrolyte raw materials contains Li<sub>2</sub>S and P<sub>2</sub>S<sub>5</sub>, and when the volume-based average particle diameter of Li<sub>2</sub>S, as measured by the laser diffraction-type particle size distribution measurement method, is defined as A and the volume-based average particle diameter of P<sub>2</sub>S<sub>5</sub>, as measured by the laser diffraction-type particle size distribution measurement method, is defined as B, A≥50 µm and B≥50 µm are satisfied.
