Abstract
An electrode for a rechargeable lithium battery and a rechargeable lithium battery including the electrode are disclosed. The electrode may include a current collector and an electrode active material layer on the current collector, wherein the electrode active material layer includes an electrode active material; and a polymer binder including a first repeating unit represented by Chemical Formula 1 and a second repeating unit represented by Chemical Formula 2.
