Abstract
A smart battery device is provided. The smart battery device includes a processing module and a battery cell. The processing module includes a storage module and an encryption module. The storage module is configured to store battery history associated with the battery cell, wherein the processing module is used to read and write to the storage module. The encryption module is configured to encrypt at least a portion of information in the battery history by an encryption mechanism. The battery cell is electrically coupled to the processing module, and the processing module is powered by the battery cell.
