Abstract

The present disclosure refers to a battery module (100) with a plurality of battery cells (10) arranged in a stacking direction (D) and a plurality of cooling plates (20) arranged between battery cells (10) in the stacking direction (D). A plurality of telescopic cooling connectors (30) is provided each interconnected with an adjacent telescopic cooling connector (30) along at least one side of the battery cells (10) in the stacking direction (D) to form a fluid-connected cooling path (32) in the stacking direction (D) and which are respectively connected to a corresponding cooling plate (20) to be fluid-connected with the cooling plate (20). Each telescopic cooling connector (30) includes a first hollow connection portion (36, 36', 36") extending in a stacking direction (D) or a direction opposite to the stacking direction, and a second hollow connection portion (38, 38', 38") extending in a direction opposite to the first hollow connection portion (36, 36', 36"), wherein each interconnection between adjacent telescopic cooling connectors (30) includes a first hollow connection portion (36, 36', 36") of a telescopic cooling connector (30) fitted into the second hollow connection portion (38, 38', 38") of the adjacent telescopic cooling connector (30), wherein the telescopic cooling connector (30) includes a connection opening (34) extending in a height direction (H) of the battery module (100), and wherein an end portion (22) of the respective cooling plate (40) passes through the connection opening (34) to be connected with the telescopic cooling connector (30).
