Abstract

The present application relates to a communication method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method comprises: a terminal device sends a first message to a first network device, the first message carrying a capability indication of the terminal device, and the capability indication being used for indicating whether the terminal device supports a plurality of user identifiers; and the terminal device receives a second message sent by the first network device, the second message carrying at least one of a first indication and the address of a second network device, and the first indication being used for indicating whether the terminal device is allowed to use the plurality of user identifiers. According to embodiments of the present application, a plurality of user identifiers of the same terminal device can be managed.
